Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Wastewater Treatment Engineer to lead our team in the Southeastern US. As a key member of our landfill leachate and industrial wastewater management practice, you will be responsible for overseeing Liquids Management activities, including staff recruitment and development, business development, growth and profitability, quality control, and fostering good overall team morale.

You will be involved in strategic planning, marketing proposals, interviews, and will also be directly involved with public and private clients in marketing, project production, and related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and leadership for the program
  • Manage projects and personnel as necessary to meet both client and SCS expectations
  • Business development including but not limited to: proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry related conferences/trade shows
  • Staff recruitment and retention
  • Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles
  • Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering required
  • P.E. license or ability to be licensed through reciprocity in FL, GA, or AL required
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience, including experience managing design teams required
  • Technical experience in design of industrial wastewater treatment systems, piping, and process controls as well as report preparation, permit coordination, and construction phase services
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and current engineering design software
