The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach cybersecurity courses in our School of Cybersecurity & Information Technology. We are seeking individuals with expertise in computer networking and security to join our team of dedicated educators.

About the Position

As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of cybersecurity courses, including Introduction to Linux, Ethical Hacking, Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials, Penetration Testing and Cyber Red Teaming, Threat Management and Vulnerability Assessment, and Cybersecurity Technology Capstone.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a master's degree in cybersecurity or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. Additionally, you must have an active and current Linux+/LPIC-1 certification, professional experience in computer networking and security, and experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education. This position is specifically for teaching onsite in Aberdeen, MD.
