As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating with healthcare teams, and promoting a safe and effective nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Coordinate with Healthcare Teams: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Promote a Safe and Effective Nursing Environment: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to infection control guidelines, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Document Patient Care: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, including monitoring patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Care.
- Licensure and Certification: Current RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
- Language Skills: English is the primary language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply critical thinking skills, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
