About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our 5-star dietary team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals for our residents, including those with therapeutic dietary needs. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents, adhering to nutritional and dietary guidelines
  • Supervise Food Service Workers in the absence of the Dietary Manager
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless meal service

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in all phases of food service
  • Experience cooking in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English
  • Basic computer skills
