We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our 5-star dietary team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals for our residents, including those with therapeutic dietary needs. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for residents, adhering to nutritional and dietary guidelines
- Supervise Food Service Workers in the absence of the Dietary Manager
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless meal service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in all phases of food service
- Experience cooking in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English
- Basic computer skills
