Key Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain OEM/Factory training certifications
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle issues
- Consult with the shop foreman or service advisor regarding repairs
- Communicate additional service needs to the service advisor
- Coordinate work with the shop foreman
- Provide labor estimates to the service advisor
- Track repair time and keep the service advisor updated
- Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation
- Document client repairs accurately
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
- Stay updated with factory technical bulletins
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License required.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on experience, aligned with industry standards.
