Job Summary

As a Wealth Advisor at CBI Bank & Trust, you will play a critical role in the sales and distribution of personal investment products, such as mutual funds, insurance, and annuity products. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert advice to customers on personal investment product purchases, informing them of current market trends and recommending appropriate investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized investment advice to customers, taking into account their individual needs and goals.
  • Determine specific customer needs and ensure that appropriate market transactions are executed.
  • Maintain a high level of profitable sales, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, issues, and customer needs, ensuring that you are always equipped to provide the best possible advice.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the current personal investment products portfolio, ensuring optimum marketing potential.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, participating in a customer call program to existing and prospective customers.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations, including those established by FINRA, Federal bank regulators, and state regulators.
  • Cross-sell bank products and build relationships with personal bankers, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Maintain all necessary licenses and certifications, ensuring that you are always compliant with industry standards.
  • Actively uphold the organization's vision, mission, and values, demonstrating a strong commitment to mutual respect, honoring commitments, working with integrity, and accepting responsibility for your actions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and three years of related experience required.
  • Series 7 and 65 securities license (or equivalent) and life/health insurance licenses required.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
