The Senior Accountant will be responsible for documenting financial transactions, analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and executing various accounting tasks. This role offers a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute general accounting functions and related tasks within the finance department.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger.
  • Process invoices, establish new accounts, reconcile accounts, and finalize monthly financial records.
  • Manage customer account reconciliations and oversee accounts receivable collections.
  • Verify invoice payments related to accounts payable and ensure accurate account charging.
  • Assist external auditors by providing necessary account information and documentation for annual audits.
  • Ensure compliance of reported financial results with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Offer management recommendations regarding financial objectives and policies.
  • Deliver financial analysis to operational leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of accounting experience is required.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and collaborative approach.
