Job Title: Shop Foreman

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to oversee the maintenance operations of our fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles, as well as managing a team of maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance of all fleet vehicles, including preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the maintenance program.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role.
  • ASE certification in truck or school bus repair preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy duty vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
