Position Summary:
This role entails executing quantitative analysis and intricate modeling projects tailored for specific business sectors or risk categories. Key duties encompass spearheading the creation of new models, analytic methodologies, or system solutions, drafting technical documentation for related tasks, and collaborating with Technology teams to design systems for model execution. Expectations may include influencing strategic direction and formulating tactical plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive market risk stress testing, including scenario design, implementation, results consolidation, and both internal and external reporting, while analyzing stress scenario outcomes to identify key drivers.
  • Lead the prioritization of quantitative work in alignment with the bank's overarching strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through evaluations of model development and validation processes, providing constructive feedback on technical documentation.
  • Oversee model development and risk management within designated focus areas to meet business needs and align with the enterprise's risk appetite.
  • Offer methodological, analytical, and technical support to effectively challenge and influence the strategic and tactical approaches of development and validation projects, while identifying potential risks.
  • Engage closely with model stakeholders and senior management regarding the communication of submission and validation results.
  • Perform statistical analyses on extensive datasets, interpreting results through both qualitative and quantitative lenses.
