Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a qualified Security Specialist to provide essential support for the Special Programs Sustainment Branch. The candidate must possess a current Top Secret/SCI clearance and demonstrate proficiency in safeguarding Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities, including:
1. Program Security Management
2. Information Security
3. Document Control
4. Physical Security
5. Security Education
6. Operations Security (OPSEC)

Primary Duties:
- Deliver comprehensive security support and manage all unit Sensitive Access Program (SAP) activities.
- Develop and implement security policies and guidelines for classified operations.
- Prepare and review Program Access Requests (PAR) in accordance with established processes.
- Utilize the AFAD system for generating access rosters and visitor certifications.
- Provide guidance to personnel based on program directives and security classification guidelines.
- Ensure the secure transmission and handling of classified materials.
- Oversee physical security measures for classified facilities, including access control and badge issuance.
- Conduct OPSEC assessments and develop countermeasures to protect classified operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; or a High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI or SBPR).
- Experience in conducting security briefings and processing security documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing SAP security education and training programs.
- Familiarity with JPAS/DCII databases for clearance verification.
- Ability to produce detailed security documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures and security plans.
