Position Summary:

The Production Associate is responsible for executing various tasks essential to the manufacturing of the company's products. Responsibilities may encompass disassembly, calibration, testing, assembly, injection molding, light machining, soldering, screening, packaging, and packing, all in accordance with established procedures. The role adheres to standard operational methods and promotes safe work practices to optimize efficiency and safety in production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interprets routing and executes tasks as directed by the department supervisor.
  • Calibrates units according to specifications, categorized by product number and type.
  • Fabricates or modifies components utilizing shop equipment.
  • Conducts functional performance tests on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Applies appropriate labels to products and packaging.
  • Understands serialized processes and aligns calibration certificates with corresponding products.
  • Packs finished products into designated packages and boxes.
  • Alerts supervisor regarding any mechanical or material concerns.
  • Places completed goods in the specified box or pallet.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Aims to meet daily performance metrics as communicated by management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High School diploma, General Education Degree, or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in production.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
  • Proficient computer skills with the capacity to learn new software.
  • Strong mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Collaborative team player who maintains pace while ensuring high-quality standards; assists team members as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Consistent attendance is essential.
  • Understanding of LEAN principles to enhance job performance for continuous improvement.
  • Basic keyboarding skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products, along with the ability to use email.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and works efficiently under pressure and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly across all organizational levels.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to excel in a rapidly evolving organization.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk continuously throughout a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Capable of performing occasional to frequent physical activities such as pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching during a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Moderate physical demands; frequently lifting/moving average weights (up to 25 lbs.) with reasonable accommodations.
