We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the NICU, including assessing and coordinating patient care plans.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition of care.
- BLS Provider certification, obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program, preferred.
