The Financial Reporting Specialist at ViaOne Services will play a crucial role in executing monthly financial closings, revenue billings, payables, inventory, and fixed asset reconciliations. This includes journal entry preparation, bank and account reconciliations, cash variance analysis with timelines and accruals.

  • Key responsibilities include performing general and cost accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.
  • The ideal candidate will execute monthly financial closings, including journal entry preparation, bank and account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Maintaining accurate cash flow trackers and supporting documentation for all company transactions is essential.
  • The Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returns.
  • Customer behavior and profitability metrics will also be analyzed.
  • Assisting in developing financial reports and process payroll are additional key tasks.
  • Billing customers for work finalized through key milestones is a critical aspect of the job.

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is required, with CPA eligibility preferred.
  • Prior experience in publicly traded organizations with familiarity to 8k, S8, NOBO, and cap tables is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and high professionalism.
  • Demonstrated customer orientation, motivation, and initiative are essential for success in this role.
  • Effective communication and adaptability are also critical.
