We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology team.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Michigan City, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a radiology setting and be able to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Medical Technologist preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
