Position Highlights

  • Student Loan Repayment Program: Receive up to $10,000 in loan repayment assistance.
  • Sign-on Bonus: Eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a three-year commitment.
  • Relocation Bonus: May be eligible for a relocation bonus.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Work 4 overnight shifts per week.

Job Summary

  • Verify physician orders and perform patient assessments to establish treatment schedules and goals.
  • Make recommendations to patients' physicians regarding their therapy.
  • Assist with discharge planning and education of patients, families, and other professionals.
  • Document patient data, including assessments, therapy performed, patient responses, and educational and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and other professionals to promote a team effort.

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of SD.
  • Current certifications in BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS.

Work Schedule

  • 9:00pm to 6:00am, 4 nights a week, occasional weekend, holiday, and call time.
  • 72 hours every 2 weeks.

Compensation

  • The hourly range for this position is $39.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
