Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Allergy Technician to support our healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with allergies. As an Allergy Technician, you will play a vital role in our busy ENT and Allergy Practice, working across three locations in Media, Glen Mills, and Chester, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct allergy skin tests, including prick tests and intradermal tests, to identify allergens and provide accurate results.
  2. Prepare and maintain testing materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient testing environment.
  3. Record patient medical histories and allergy symptoms accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop comprehensive allergy treatment plans, including immunotherapy.
  5. Administer allergy treatments, such as subcutaneous or sublingual immunotherapy, as directed by healthcare providers, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  6. Educate patients about allergies, treatment options, and allergen avoidance strategies, promoting patient empowerment and understanding.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare team members.
  8. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  9. Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with developments in allergy diagnosis and treatment, enhancing professional growth and development.
  10. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to all office locations, ensuring timely and efficient patient care.
