CT Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Rhode Island Medical Imaging. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records.

• Perform CT scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the scanning process.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, scan results, and any relevant medical history.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality imaging services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.

• Registered Technologist through the ARRT and certified in CT required.
• Licensed technologist through the State of Rhode Island and certified in CT required.
• National & State IV Certification required.
• High School diploma plus two years of training at an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be a registered technologist and have obtained adequate additional training in cross-sectional anatomy, injection procedures, contrast media, and possible reactions.
