We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

• Transportation and Logistics: Transport patients, specimens, and sterile supplies to and from the operating rooms, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Environmental Services: Assist in cleaning and maintaining the operating rooms, including mopping floors, wiping down equipment, and removing trash.
• Assisting the OR Team: Assist the surgical team in preparing for procedures, opening sterile supplies, and positioning patients.
• Monitoring Traffic: Help control traffic in and out of the operating rooms to prevent contamination of the sterile environment.
• Shave Preps and Education: Perform preoperative shave preps as needed and attend required in-services, annual reviews, and educational programs.

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification at HCP Level required.
• Experience: Three months of orientation/training depending on experience.
