We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hospital Registrar to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth registration process.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient information, including diagnosis and referring physician details, to ensure accurate registration.
- Collect point-of-service payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist patients with undressing needs and provide clear explanations of the registration process.
- Respond to emergencies in the department and maintain a clean and orderly waiting area.
- Meet departmental goals for registration accuracy and point-of-service collections.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions.
- Physical stamina to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, and moderate lifting of patients.
