We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Wellington Regional Medical Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for obtaining blood specimens from patients, ensuring accurate identification and handling of specimens, and providing exceptional patient care.

• Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques
• Follow laboratory policy for proper identification of patients and handling of specimens
• Provide care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
• Be willing to cross-train and float to other departments as needed
• Recognize signs and symptoms of stroke and initiate stroke alert process

• One year of experience as a hospital laboratory phlebotomist or completion of an approved phlebotomy training course
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
