Key Responsibilities:
  • Reliability Strategy Formulation:
    Craft and refine reliability strategies tailored to organizational objectives. Identify essential spare parts and equipment, establish inventory guidelines, and improve the preventive maintenance framework. Develop a comprehensive asset care plan to secure long-term equipment reliability.
  • Operational Efficiency Improvement:
    Oversee modifications to equipment and processes aimed at boosting overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), yield rates, reliability, and maintenance quality.
  • Cost and Performance Evaluation:
    Examine maintenance expenditures and repair frequencies to pinpoint and rectify issues with equipment performance. Utilize existing OEE loss assessments to formulate enhancement or replacement strategies for underperforming assets.
  • Leadership and Team Collaboration:
    Guide cross-functional teams in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Six Sigma projects, and equipment enhancement initiatives.
  • Reporting and Stakeholder Communication:
    Generate monthly reports detailing the progress of significant maintenance and reliability projects, along with ongoing capital initiatives.
  • Work Order Oversight:
    Manage and prioritize maintenance work orders, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Supervise operator input of work orders in the management system for non-optimal equipment issues.
  • Incident Analysis:
    Lead and coordinate RCA investigations for major reliability incidents, assigning leaders and resources to effectively address and resolve challenges.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, complemented by over 5 years of experience as a Reliability or Maintenance Engineer within a PSM-regulated chemical environment.

Demonstrated expertise in predictive and preventive maintenance, asset management/OEE, and rotating equipment including compressors, pumps, fans, and blowers. Extensive familiarity with RCM, RCA, Six Sigma methodologies, and CMMS systems. Must possess the ability to work independently without sponsorship.
