Job Overview

As a Loan Operations Specialist at Stock Yards Bank and Trust, you will engage in a variety of tasks related to the establishment and management of consumer and commercial loans, letters of credit, and leasing agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily activities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Configuration of new and renewed consumer and commercial loans, letters of credit, and lease agreements.
  • Processing and reconciling payments and disbursement transactions linked to finalized loans, letters of credit, and leases.
  • Specialized handling of International Letters of Credit, Corresponding Banking, SWAPS, Participation, Syndications, and more.
  • Examination of loan documentation in finalized packages for thoroughness, maintaining application systems, managing billing schedules, and conducting post-audits of loan documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.
  • Reviewing, clearing, and updating all loan documentation discrepancies in the system.
  • Delivering exceptional service quality with significant interaction with internal stakeholders.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned.
  • Making informed decisions within the parameters established by the Loan Operations Department.
  • Collaborating closely with all members of the Loan Operations team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in banking, specifically in loan processing, is essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is necessary.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities, capable of managing sensitive matters with tact and discretion.
  • Familiarity with Premier Navigator is preferred.
