Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Telemetry Department at Chino Valley Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
  • Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, including vital sign measurements and documentation
  • Maintain a safe environment by ensuring patient rooms are clean and organized, and that equipment is functioning properly
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility as needed
  • Document patient information and vital signs in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required
  • Current BLS upon hire and maintain current
  • Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred
