As a Patient Care Specialist at Disability Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. Under the direction of our nursing staff, you will provide basic patient care and support, promoting a positive and compassionate environment for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet the expectations of our OneCHRISTUS Competencies, demonstrating leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Respond to patient calls and provide assistance with daily living activities, such as eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and other essential metrics, and report any changes to our nursing staff.
- Assist our nursing staff with medical procedures and wound care, ensuring the highest level of patient comfort and dignity.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to our patients.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
