We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative with driving responsibilities to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our sales and delivery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, assist customers in person and over the phone, and determine their needs to present appropriate products and services.
- Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
- Delivery and Logistics: Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner, and maintain the store vehicle, reporting any repair and servicing needs to the supervisor.
- Route Management: Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules, complying with all laws, traffic regulations, safety procedures, etc., when driving a vehicle.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries, and operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Age and Authorization: Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Internal Requirements: If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have received at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal, and completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position.
- Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, and specifically in Spanish.
