Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL B Local Waste Disposal Driver to join our team at Kimble Recycling & Disposal in Dover, OH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty waste disposal vehicles and collecting waste and recyclable materials.

Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements, local, state, and federal laws, and Kimble policies.
  • Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of vehicles and document/report any mechanical or safety issues to supervisors.
  • Notify supervisors of accidents, injuries, or property damage.
  • Maintain and update route sheets and driver logs.
  • Attend scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors, such as assisting with other routes to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid CDL B license (or A).
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Hiring radius: drivers must live within 50 miles of Dover, OH or be willing to relocate for this position.

  • Home every night
  • Monday through Friday schedule. Weekends as needed.
  • Day shift typically starting: 6 am for residential, 3 am for commercial.
