Job Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist position provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area for ABM, a leading provider of facilities services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain buildings and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients and employees.
  • Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs, including minor or major issues with building operating systems.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Perform a variety of tasks as assigned, including cleaning floors, vacuuming, and gathering trash.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
