We are seeking a skilled Refractory Mason/Installer to join our team at Heat Tech Industrial. As a key member of our industrial construction team, you will be responsible for installing refractory materials and brick in industrial plants across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Install refractory materials and brick in various shapes and combinations
- Key in brick rings and perform welding, cutting, grinding, and forming tasks
- Install refractory products using gunning and shotcrete applications
- Interpret and understand drawings, including anchor centering and pattern, brick combinations
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including rotary guns, jackhammers, and brick saws
- Operate equipment and machinery, including forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts
- Ability to stand and/or be on their feet for 10-12 hours per day
- Ability to lift 50lb as needed
- Ability to go up and down on ladders, steps, or other lifts as needed
- Ability to perform tasks in confined spaces and elevations
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as pre-employment physical and background check
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, long hours, and travel as required
