Job Title: Physical Therapist


Description:


AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to patients in a correctional facility setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing care per licensure scope and Institution/Facility policies, in line with evidence-based Physical Therapy practices.


Responsibilities:



  • Providing physical therapy and evaluations as needed, based on scheduled appointments by the Institution/Facility CEO/CME or designee
  • Delivering physical therapy to patients/youth via physician referral, orders, or direct access for documented diagnoses
  • Conducting initial assessments, forming treatment plans, and communicating effectively with patients/youth and medical staff
  • Completing reports, assessments, and progress notes using approved forms in patients' records
  • Maintaining rigorous daily charting; overdue charts beyond ten (10) days might end the Vendor Worker's engagement

Requirements:



  • Valid and active license issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California
  • At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years
  • CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED)
  • Must be proficient in the English Language (Speaking/Writing)

Additional Information:
