Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Whistle Workwear. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with requests in store and on the phone, providing personalized service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers, making recommendations and answering questions to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere and building rapport with our valued customers.
  • Keep an eye on inventory levels and restock shelves as needed, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Ring up customers at the cash register, take payments, and issue receipts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Tag prices on merchandise, maintaining accurate pricing and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Contribute to team's daily sales goals, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive business results.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience or customer service experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong orientation towards providing exceptional customer service.
  • Basic math skills and high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated selling skills and ability to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Bi-lingual a plus.
