Fabrication Trainee Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fabrication Trainee at Larry Methvin Installation Inc. in Stockton, California.

As a Fabrication Trainee, you will be trained on the glass fabrication process, including cutting, polishing, seaming, handling, staging, and other tasks. You will work under the direct supervision of a shift supervisor and department lead, and will be part of a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and master the glass fabrication process
  • Work under direct supervision and follow safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience is required, but previous glass handling experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment physical and drug screening
