Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer to oversee and enhance manufacturing processes at our facility. In this role, you will focus on identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of product quality, designing new processes, and ensuring cost efficiency while adhering to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement:
  • Conduct cycle time analysis to identify and implement projects aimed at improving throughput.
  • Oversee tooling and equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations.
  • Direct the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance throughput.
  • Project Management:
  • Assist with capital and tooling analysis, strategies, justification, and acquisitions.
  • Participate in the discovery and deployment of capital equipment projects.
  • Provide technical support for specific plant operations and assist with New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) events.
  • Capacity Planning & Strategy:
  • Develop capacity planning and strategy for manufacturing processes.
  • Design plant layouts, material flows, and infrastructure to support capacity and efficiency requirements.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers across all sites to ensure alignment and share knowledge.
  • Investigate and evaluate new technologies to address manufacturing process needs.
  • Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure that manufacturing processes have accurate and detailed specifications to produce parts as required.
  • Review assembly operations and component designs to verify manufacturing feasibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience working in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong project management experience with effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD LT and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in performing DFMA events and assisting with NPIs.
