Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Screener to join our team at the Brien Center for Mental Health. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial medical screenings and ongoing monitoring of patients
  • Assist with medical aspects of assessment, including vital signs, substance intoxication or withdrawal, and medical history
  • Determine medical stability for disposition to higher levels of care
  • Coordinate with Brien Center colleagues and other service organizations
  • Provide coverage for other medical screeners as needed
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) required
  • CORI and RMV check
