End Finder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled End Finder to join our team at AGY, a leading manufacturer of precision ultrafine glass fiber reinforcements. As an End Finder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by finding and identifying ends on forming stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Finds ends on forming stock and places quality stock on transportation equipment.
• Visually inspects packages for quality and identifies any defects or irregularities.
• Loads and unloads forming tubes to and from conveyor, segregates tubes, and performs proper scanning procedures.
• Records production and generates reports, including tracking chargebacks and identifying transportation equipment that needs repair.
• Participates in safety and good housekeeping programs and performs other related duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with 1 year of experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, stand for 12 hours a day, and learn quickly in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work swing shift and pass Work Keys.
• Great communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
