We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Advocate Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients, including conducting physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Advocate for patients and families, and provide education and support to promote healthy behaviors and outcomes.
- Participate in peer review and maintain appropriate credentialing and privileging requirements.
- Master's degree or equivalent as a Physician Assistant.
- 1 year of experience in a relevant setting preferred.
- Current Certification (NCCPA) and licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Current Illinois Controlled Substance License within 6 months of hire.
- Eligible for DEA registration.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with varying hours and shifts to meet the needs of Advocate Health. Travel may be required, and the ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations is essential.
