Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinician II to join our team. As a Clinician II, you will work within the values and clinical philosophy of Pacific Clinics, providing comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities and educational programs. You will lead and facilitate cross-functional teams, facilitate group supervision, and support other social workers. Your responsibilities will include the completion and maintenance of clinical and administrative documentation, assisting with the implementation of Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) across the program, and participating in agency work groups in support of annual priorities and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Develop and implement treatment plans that ensure quality care for children and families.
  2. Apply advanced skills in acquisition and application of clinically related information to effectively intervene with children and families.
  3. Lead problem-solving interactions and work with external customers.
  4. Maintain audit-ready charts and conduct independent audits.
  5. Provide observations and feedback to supervisors to monitor and modify programs or approaches.
  6. Actively participate in the identification of team opportunities for improvement or identification of deficiencies and develop strategies to address or bridge gaps.
  7. Lead Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and project implementation.
  8. Perform other related responsibilities as assigned to support specific department/business needs.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, you must have a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Social Work or a closely related field, such as Marriage, Child and Family Counseling or Psychology. You must also have three years of supervised clinical experience with children, California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or Ph.D., and BBS registration. Preferred qualifications include four to five years of clinical experience with children, experience with Wraparound plans and development of ICFPs, crisis management experience, training in domestic violence, physical/sexual child abuse, and suicidal trauma, and self-defense training.
