Chef (Flexi/Bank)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Elsyng House Care Home, part of Oakland Care Ltd. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met, and maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

• Design and prepare delicious menus for our residents, taking into account their individual preferences and dietary requirements.
• Prepare and serve meals to the highest standards, ensuring presentation and quality are exceptional.
• Guide, direct, and coach kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Work closely with other chefs, chef assistants, and senior management to maintain a smooth kitchen operation.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and replenishing to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate documentation.

• Impeccable communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents.
• Relevant qualifications, food hygiene certificate, and knowledge of therapeutic diets.
• Experience in delivering high-quality services as a Chef, with a passion for providing exceptional care.
