Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer as a member of a team in the design and preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations, and construction documents.
  • Prepare accurate presentation, design, details, and construction documents.
  • Prepare permit applications and submittal packages to agencies having jurisdiction.
  • Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other parties associated with the project.
  • Perform site investigations and construction observation.
  • Prepare specifications, shop drawing review, field observations, preparation of inspection reports, and other construction administration tasks.
  • Collaborate with other firm engineers, architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams.
  • Research, interpretation, and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements.
  • Implementation and utilization of CPH and client standards and templates.
  • Review of documents prepared by others and implementation of project quality control.
  • Development and adherence to project scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Management of clients and national account programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • EI/EIT certification or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Ability to exercise critical thinking and good independent judgment.
  • Stormwater management, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection system design education or experience.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Good social, communication, written, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
