We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Ferriday.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight of our social services program, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, Federal, and State regulations. They will work closely with our therapy services, case management, education, and discharge planning teams to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and oversight of individual, group, and family sessions for patients.
- Participate in chart reviews for quality assurance and contribute to the development of psychosocial assessments and clinical notes.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical department on discharge and aftercare planning, completion of discharge summaries, and providing guidance to clinical staff.
- Conduct and/or provide supervision/approval of psychosocial assessments and the development of clinical notes.
- Deliver clinical counseling services, including group, individual, and family services, in an age/disability/cultural sensitive milieu.
- Must possess an LCSW license in good standing with the State of Louisiana.
- Preferred: Three (3) years of full-time experience in psychiatric settings.
- Excellent assertive communication skills, good writing and composition skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize high-volume workloads.
- Therapeutic Intervention/De-escalation education and CPR certification.
