Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Cornelius, Oregon.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from anesthesia. You will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
  • Document patient information, progress, and outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 9 months of RN experience, with a focus on critical care or PACU.
  • 2+ years of experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, PACU) within the last 3 years.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
  • Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous healthcare experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • CPAN, CCRN, or CAPA certifications.
