About the Opportunity
Sentry is seeking a seasoned Senior Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead the development of our core AI/ML infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in building the framework used for time-series analysis at massive scale and optimizing the performance of transformer-based embeddings models.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement the deployment strategy for major initiatives, driving business impact through data-driven insights.
- Develop scalable machine learning solutions that integrate seamlessly with our core products, enhancing error classification and predictive analytics for application performance monitoring.
- Pioneer the use of cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and growth.

Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in computer science, machine learning, or a related field.
- Proven track record of writing production-quality code in Python and expertise in deploying machine learning models at scale.
- Experience with distributed large-scale data processing tools, such as Apache Spark or Flink, and OLAP databases ideal for time-series data.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow and a strong understanding of cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We Offer
The base salary range for this position is $190,000 USD to $235,000 USD. A successful candidate's actual base salary will be determined by various relevant factors including work location, education, experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. A successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Sentry's employee benefit plans/programs applicable to the candidate's position (including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage).
