Athletic Trainer

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team in Monaca, PA.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical evaluation, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions for our clients.

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician
• Participate in the Athletic Training Services program, including coverage of school athletic events and practices
• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for rehabilitation of injured athletes
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques to decrease the risk of injury
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, and provide basic life support
• Communicate effectively with the sports medicine team to ensure optimal care for athletes

• BS Degree in Athletic Training or related field
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Applicable state license where required
