Job Overview

The role of the Software Engineering Advisor is pivotal in supporting the Acquisition Readiness (AR) Performance Assessment (PA) Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) contract. This position is part of a division that specializes in various technical capability areas, including Warfare Systems Performance Assessment and Acquisition and Readiness Assessment.

The division is committed to providing a structured approach to measure and manage material readiness through the use of tailored tools, databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and business intelligence interfaces. This ensures the delivery of authoritative metrics, trends, and insights.

In this capacity, the Advisor Software Engineer will:

  • Analyze, design, and develop testing frameworks and automation suites.
  • Create and implement a processing platform utilizing diverse configuration management technologies.
  • Evaluate software development methodologies within an agile framework.
  • Offer continuous maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business users, project managers, and fellow engineers, to devise elegant solutions and recommend ongoing improvements.

Education Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

3-5 years of relevant professional experience is expected.

This position necessitates a SECRET clearance, with interim clearances being acceptable.

Travel may be required, with work primarily conducted at designated facilities and potentially at various locations worldwide.
