Job Title: ECC Instructor

Job Summary:

Kingsport City Schools is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Certified (ECC) Instructor to join our team. As an ECC Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and care to our young students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Provide individualized attention and support to students, addressing their unique needs and abilities
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters socialization, creativity, and exploration
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and a cohesive educational experience
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and needs
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and research-based methods

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Certified (ECC) credential or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
