Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Camden Clark Medical Center. As a Medical Sonography Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis of injury and/or disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and explain exams to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
  • Perform a range of ultrasound procedures, including complex and elaborate exams, to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of procedures and techniques to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Assist physicians during exams, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and well-being, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in the education and oversight of orientees, ancillary staff, and students, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Graduate or graduating within 6 months of hire from an accredited Medical Imaging Program.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Must be RDMS certified within 18 months of hire.
  • Must be RVT certified if working in Vascular prior to hire.
