Job Roles: We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team across various shifts. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care to residents while overseeing the daily nursing activities conducted by nursing assistants, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care in alignment with each resident's care plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of nursing assistants, ensuring care is provided according to residents' preferences and care plans.
- Implement physician's orders and execute nursing interventions as required.
- Document nursing notes accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to reflect the care provided.
- Communicate changes in residents' conditions to appropriate parties.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic services as directed by physicians.
- Review EMR for specific treatment plans, medication orders, and dietary needs.
- Notify physicians and guardians of any significant changes in residents' health.
- Provide specialized nursing services such as catheterization, tube feeding, and wound care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions to ensure resident safety and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid and active LPN or RN license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Demonstrate understanding and support for Pine Haven's Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Exhibit regular attendance and punctuality to foster positive relationships within the team.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
