Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Optician to join our team as an Optical Keyholder at Warby Parker. As a key member of our optical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the highest quality of eyewear, and leading our team to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Work directly with customers to understand their eyewear needs, take measurements, and fit eyewear with precision and accuracy.
  • Optical Standards: Ensure that all eyewear meets our high standards, including customer requirements and requests.
  • Leadership: Set up the store for success each day, drive sales, and lead the optical team to achieve our goals.
  • Team Management: Mentor and lead the Optical team, including participants of our Optician Apprentice Program.
  • Store Operations: Maintain general store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
  • Culture: Foster a positive and productive employee culture in the store.

Requirements:

  • A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
  • Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
  • A clear, effective, and professional communicator.
  • Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
  • An energetic and positive team player who can adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
