Pentec Health is seeking an experienced Mobile Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team. This full-time position requires travel across the United States, with opportunities to create your own schedule to meet patient needs.
In this role, you will work with patients who have implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices, providing comprehensive care through assessments, interventions, pump refills, and education. You may visit patients in their homes, hospitals, clinics, or other settings.
We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including an estimated $110,000 annual salary, which is based on qualifications, skills, and location. Key Responsibilities:- Nursing care is reviewed and adapted to facilitate mutually agreed-upon goals, guided by policies, procedures, and standards of care through a shared governance model.
- All TDD Specialist Nurses are provided the ANCC accredited Nurse Fellowship Program upon hire.
- You will tailor education to meet each patient's healthcare literacy and educate patients and caregivers on healthy lifestyles and informed decision-making.
- Promote integrative care techniques to assist patients with symptom management and improve quality of life.
- Complete required documentation accurately and within the required timeframe and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Responsible for all elements of the nursing process, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation for each patient.
- Collaborate with prescribing physicians, patients, and caregivers as needed.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with state, HIPAA, and TJC requirements.
- Actively participate in Shared Governance and integrate evidence-based research into practice accordingly.
- A minimum of 3 years of RN experience with 24/7 accountability as needed.
- Demonstrate the skill and ability required for completion of Intrathecal Nurse Fellowship Orientation program.
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently and be a resourceful, proactive problem solver.
- Exhibits accurate critical thinking and the ability to quickly assess and react to changes in patient conditions. Understands criteria for standard versus urgent response.
- Ability to work in a remote home office and maintain productive, therapeutic boundaries.
- Demonstrates teamwork through the ability to work well and communicate effectively with members of the healthcare team.
- ICU/ER/OR and/or home care experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of chronic pain/rehab principles.
- BSN
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and the ability to become licensed in another state if needed.
- Must be CPR certified, or have the ability to be certified.
- Intermediate computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Adobe PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Knowledge of smart phones.
