Job Overview

Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities and facilitate community integration
  • Encourage independence, social interaction, self-care, and personal development
  • Support individuals in activities outside their residences, including recreational events
  • Provide foundational training in technology and communication skills
  • Offer job coaching services as required
  • Transport individuals to various locations, including homes, activities, and appointments
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of all participant information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Passion for working with and assisting individuals
  • 1 - 2 years of experience supporting individuals with special needs
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance in New Jersey, along with a reliable vehicle
  • Driving record with 4 points or fewer
  • Flexible availability
  • Compliance with state regulations as necessary
  • Cooperation with state regulations and inspections
  • Successful completion of state and federal background checks
  • First Aid and CPR certification required
