Job Responsibilities and RequirementsWe are looking for a licensed Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging to work full-time. As a CT Technologist, you will be skilled in conducting a variety of scans, including brain, spine, facial, thoracic, abdominal, and extremity imaging. If you are passionate about patient care, this role may be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Selecting appropriate technical parameters to perform and complete diagnostic CT scans with accuracy and compassion.
- Demonstrating comprehensive operational knowledge of CT equipment and related technologies.
- Assisting with the administration of contrast agents and related procedures.
- Preparing and positioning patients while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Documenting all relevant clinical information and obtaining informed consent prior to examinations.
- Capturing high-quality CT images and ensuring only optimal images are submitted for review.
- Staying updated with software protocols and advancements in the field through ongoing education.
- Maintaining effective communication with patients and healthcare team members, including radiologists.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment to prevent contamination.
- Being available for on-call duties as necessary to ensure patient care continuity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, along with relevant technical training.
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve frequent standing, bending, and lifting of patients and equipment.
- At least one year of recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute care setting.
